Travel Poster
In this poster I was tasked with making a collage of different pictures to create foreground, middle ground and background. The main photo of Yellowstone is a photo that I took. The golden eagle, the person in the kayak and the mountain goats are photos that I photoshopped in. To create the finished product, I brought the collage into illustrator and drew over the color differences and then used the eyedropper and put the colors into the correct place.

In this poster I was assigned to pick an art piece from the Cooper Hewitt Museum. The requirements were a vector drawing of the artwork I picked, the museum logo, and the information about the piece.

This project tasked me with making up my own vision of a magazine. I needed to design a layout of a two-page spread and a cover.

10 Rules for Students and Teachers
In this poster I was assigned to create a poster for rule 7 of 10 Rules for Students and Teachers created by Sister Corita Kent. I was told to show some influence from some of Kent's work. I decided to use reds and shades of blue to have a pop of color.

In this poster I was tasked with creating some sort of map that reflected me. I decided to make my poster on my 2019 family road trip. I got each of the states that we visited and what we did in each, then I created the shapes of each state and filled them with different colors.

In this project I was put on a team with two other people. We were challenged with picking an item out of a box. We then needed to find a media kit for a magazine to find the specifications for a full-page ad. We then photographed our product to be the photo of the ad and then created our paragraph text.

This is one of the portrait sessions that I did in August 2022. In this session I did a milk bath with orange slices. My reference photos were of babies in milk baths with different kinds of fruit.

In this photo I needed to show that I understood how to shoot my camera in full manual. I show that I can create light trails with a long shutter speed.

In these photos I was tasked to portray a descriptive word. The word that I got was pointy. After I took the photos, I showed my classmates and they tried to guess my descriptive word.

About Me
Why did I become a designer?
I became a designer because I have always been a creative person. Designing has always been my outlet from my everyday life. Photography has always inspired me but being at SUNY Cobleskill opened me up to new things like typography and drawing. I would like to be a freelance photographer and designer. I want to do the projects that I am interested in and know that I will do well in. After doing freelance for a little while I want to try and build a business to help others get into design and to show them what it is like in the office.
